Whether you’re looking to be part of the fast-paced event tourism industry or to gain the skills needed to advance in tourism, event, and hospitality, our Tourism, Convention, and Event Management (TCEM) major is the starting point to launch your dream career. In this undergraduate program, you’ll study event management in and out of the classroom, run an event, and get hands-on experience working with businesses through extracurricular programs and internships. And, the curriculum includes completing a business foundations certificate, opportunities for studying abroad and coaches professional skills to help you land your first job. With this degree, you’ll be primed to work in event management, hospitality, or tourism. And, there are hundreds of career possibilities to pursue, from directing corporate events to overseeing music festivals or managing a hotel. The industry is full of opportunities for TCEM graduates.
